Ministry is the act of ministering or serving.
At Grace Lutheran Church, there are many opportunities to serve
and be served.
Foodshelf
The Valley Foodshelf was established to serve those in need within the area. No person seeking help will be subject to either adverse or preferential treatment on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, age or national origin. Food is distributed solely on the basis of need. There is no charge for this service or any expectation to receive a donation from the recipients. This is a free service, staffed by volunteers from all area churches.
The foodshelf is open every Tuesday (except the fifth Tuesday in the month) from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm. If you need help, come on those days.
If you would like to volunteer to help, call the
Director of the Valley Foodshelf at 784-4134.
Quilters
This group meets the first and third Monday of each month at 1:00 pm in the Quilting Room and Social Room of the Church. They cut material, piece, and sew quilts which are given to missions and the needy in the area. Please come on a scheduled Monday if you'd like to join the quilters. The Grace Quilters are busy quilting from September thru May.

The church provides office space to Linda R. Hamann, MS, Licensed Psychologist, Red River Counseling, which integrates Psychology and Spirituality. Ms. Hamann is here on Thursday each week.
