Reflection on Grace Lutheran

     Grace Lutheran is a congregation with a strong hold on tradition while facing the inevitable changes for a large church in a small community. Grace Lutheran has been described by some as a "flagship congregation" with strengths such as worship, many varied talents of members, mission and synodical support, a history of superior pastoral leadership and preaching and the variety of programs offered as well as a beautiful facility.

     Grace Lutheran has the gift of many people "making things happen" working on boards, committees and many other volunteer positions. The gifts of staff and people in the congregation are encouraged and appreciated. Families and individual members of Grace from the youth to the mature are the life of our congregation and need to be recognized through visitation in both the good times and certainly in times of crises. Attendance and participation by all members in Grace Lutheran?s many programs and activities continues to be important and encouraged.

     Worship and the influence of God in the lives of our church family are enhanced through good sermons that preach the Gospel, the love of Jesus for those for whom He died and the teachings of the Bible.

     The people of Grace Lutheran, boards, council and staff working alongside capable pastoral leadership will accomplish Grace's mission of sharing God's love.
