Jr. and Sr. High Youth.  Please hang on to your monthly newsletter and calendar that was sent out with the upcoming news and events.  Updates and new happenings will be posted in the Sunday Bulletin.

     Senior League had 15 kids participate on Feb. 10^th for their League night.  The youth had supper together, had a Bible Study and ended the night with some fun fellowship.  Senior League meets monthly on the 3^rd Wed. of each month.  We have supper at 6:00 pm in the Youth Room followed by the activity planned for the month and devotion.

     Junior League had 20 kids that participated in the Feb. 3^rd League Night.  The youth refilled all of the pew pencils, as requested by the GLCW, and played games.  Justin Strand filled in as the leader for Linnae that night.  Junior League meets on the 1^st Wed. of each month.  We have supper at 6:00 pm in the Youth Room followed by the activity planned for the month and devotions.

** Please note that Junior League will be on Sunday, March 7 at ARC Lanes from 4-6pm.

Sr. League will be on Sunday, March 14 gathering in the Youth Room at 3:30 pm with an "interesting" presentation by Pr. Ken and Susan on "Loove and Relationships", followed by bowling and pizza at ARC Lanes.  Come meet, listen and laugh.  The schedule change is due to Lenten Services.

Sr. League Spaghetti Supper -

The Annual Sr. League Spaghetti Supper was on Sunday, Feb. 21^st.  Thanks to everyone who helped out!  Also, a big thank you to those who came out to support the supper!  21 kids participated in the preparation and serving of the meal.

Andes Tower Hills Ski Trip

We are planning a ski trip for all 7-12 graders to Andes Tower Hills in  Alexandria, MN on March 13^th.  Please call the church office and sign up by March 5 if you would like to go!  Adults are welcome to go along!!  Please keep in mind, the tubing hill is LOTS of fun so if you don't like to ski, come along and try out the tubing!  The prices were in the Youth Newsletter.  Each youth is responsible for paying their own way.  If you have any questions or need more info on the prices, please contact Linnae Strand or go to the Andes website.

Bible Study

There is a weekly Bible Study during the Sunday School hour (10:05am) for all 9-12 graders.  So far we have had about 15 kids participating weekly.  Please join us if you can!  Teachers are Linnae Strand and Stacy Erickson.

Mission Trip

There are 5 youth committed to going on the 2010 Summer Mission Trip to New Orleans on June 27-July 2.  They are: Austin Ganje, Mitchell Ruebke, Max Peterson, Joel Merkens, Alex Sawrey and Gabe Power.  They are going to be doing some fundraising starting with the Soup and Sandwich supper on March 17^th.  They are also looking into a Pancake Feed this spring with a Silent Auction and a Burger Fundraiser through Ralph's Food Pride on June 9th.  If you are interested in supporting them financially, please contact Linnae Strand.

Looking ahead?

The 9-12 grade youth will again be doing the Sunrise Service this year for Easter followed by the Easter Breakfast.  They will be serving scrambled eggs, sausages, muffins, fresh fruit, milk and coffee.  It will be a freewill breakfast.

March Calendar of Events:

* Jr. League: March 7 - 1:00 pm leave for Churches United returning by 4:00 pm for bowling and pizza at ARC Lanes.  Call and sign up for Churches United trip by March 4.

* Jr/Sr High Ski Trip to Andes Tower Hills - March 13 leaving the church at 8:30 am.

* Sr.League: March 14 at 3:30 pm at the church with Pr. Ken and Susan then going to ARC Lanes for bowling and pizza.

* Sunday school for grades 9-12 in the Youth Room on Sunday mornings at 10:05 am.
